Banana Quark cake

Bananabread is hopefully a weekly returning recipe in your nutrition! It’s super easy to prepare, very nutritious and filling. I played around with the recipe a little bit and added some low fat quark which makes this bananabread even more delicious. Some vanilla, pinch of cinnamon and a few stevia drops and it’s done, easy as that!

#slimmingbody: morning snack (1 slice)

How to prepare

Preheat the oven at 180 degrees.

Mix the buckwheat flour, rolled oats, cinnamon and baking powder in a bowl. Mash the bananas in another bowl and add eggs, quark, stevia drops and vanilla extract. Add the quark mixture to the flour mixture and mix well.

Line a cake tin with parchment paper and pour the batter in. Bake the cake for about 35 minutes in the oven. Let it cool down before you remove the cake tin. Slice your cake into 6 portions.
