In January I reached a point in my life where I felt unhappy and super insecure about my body.

When I still lived with my parents I ate way too much and went out three times a week (including a lot of alcohol). My parents ate healthy but I sneaky ate everything I could find in the kitchen cabin. When I got my own place this changed a bit because I was responsible for my own food.

I didn’t think about what I ate and I felt like eating pizza every day. This went on for a while and I became more insecure about my body. Everytime I started with eating healthy but that healthy lifestyle never lasted longer than one week. I started to eat unhealthy food again and this time I didn’t take one piece of something but a lot. I knew this wasn’t good for me but I didn’t know any better.

One day I came across Lisa’s Instagram account and saw all her healthy and delicious recipes. I started to do some research myself. And this is how I found out about Lisa’s Slimming Body Guide and everything fell into place. I started running and weighttraining. I also changed the way I ate and I lost a lot of kilos.

Maintaining this healthy lifestyle is kind of hard for me, especially when I am at my parents place. My mom bakes the most delicious cakes and there is much food to eat. That’s why I usually eat too much when I am at their place, but as long as I can enjoy it together with the people around me I’m okay with that. It’s all about balance and that’s more important to me than having a toned tummy. Which is less toned now that summer has gone by. But this is even more reason to get back on track.
