Why did I start?
I wasn’t feeling that comfortable in my own skin for a while, I wasn’t happy with my body and was dealing with a lot of emotions. I decided to work on all of that, that starts with your body and being happy with yourself. So, nutrition was object number 1 but I didn’t want to go on a real diet. I figured that the most effective way to accomplish this, is to exercise regularly and to combine that with an adjustment of my diet. My goal was to lose some weight, getting in shape and to be happy and fit.
How did I experienced it?
The first weeks were crazy, because of the big amounts of food I had to eat! But you don’t hear me complaining about that. All tasty dishes and snacks. I went on a three weeks holiday to Italy and even over there I had no problems sticking to the guide. You feel you’re getting fitter and then when you’re losing weight and centimeters you’ll even become more motivated to persevere. Sports for me was a combination of weekly yoga & running and two times a week to the gym. And yes, every morning I make all the dishes I’m taking to work and my fridge has a stock of delicious healthy snacks!
What have I accomplished?
I take really good care for myself now! I started on May 18, 2015 and have lost 9 kilos, quite a few centimeters and I feel good. When I look in the mirror I’m happy. My goal is achieved. I feel like a complete woman and I’m a fit mom! <3 SBG!
