Why it’s important that healthy food is also tasty

Healthy food.. We all know it’s essential to achieve a slim and healthy body. I hear you think: ‘What about working out?’. Yes, that’s also very important ladies. But today I want to talk about a healthy eating pattern. Many people still think that eating healthy is complicated and not tasty, but that’s far from true! I use my Slimming Body method for two years now and I get to eat delicious and super easy recipes every day. I love food and you won’t see me eat a dish I don’t like or which is hard to prepare. I always say: life’s too short to eat food you don’t like. And I am not saying that you should eat a sandwich with Nutella from now on just because it’s super tasty. No, choose wisely and go for a delicious healthy version. I for example love my healthy version of ontbijtkoek! I eat it quite a lot and that’s the reason I don’t miss my sandwich with Nutella so much.

Living a healthy life doesn’t mean you have to live on a piece of lettuce. Thank god! On the contrary, I want you to enjoy food and I want that food to be good for your body as well. I encourage people to continue eating their guilty pleasures, but than in a healthy way!

I will give you a few reasons why it´s important that healthy food is also tasty.

  1. It will help you to maintain your healthy lifestyle

I think this is the most important reason if you ask me! The reason I´m able to live this healthy lifestyle for two years already is all about the tasty recipes I get to eat every day. And believe me, that makes a big difference. How long can you keep up with eating food you don´t like? I’m telling you not very long!

  1. Sharing healthy food is more fun

As I said before living a healthy life does not mean you have to live on a piece of lettuce. How great is it that when your friends come over you can serve them your guilty pleasures healthy style? And everyone can have a bite (and believe me, they definetely want to)! From now on you don’t have to watch your friends eating chips or salted nuts while you are eating your carrots. No, you will be able to serve your healthy homemade cheesecake, cupcakes or crackers with homemade hummus or guacamole! And I’m pretty sure everyone will ask you for the recipe after they’ve tried it ;-).

  1. It´s easier to say no to unhealthy food

Eating healthy and tasty food has a lot of health benefits for your body. You’ll get more energy, you will feel better (also about yourself), you will sleep better.. these are just a few of the benefits. If you choose for healthy and tasty food more often you won’t crave unhealthy food that much anymore! Your body will be balanced (bye bye sugar addiction). And this will make it easier to maintain your healthy lifestyle. Oh and, on an unrelated matter, you will get slimmer ;-). That’s what I like to call a win-win situation!
