More energy without getting tired

All those sport freaks who claim to get more energy by working out… Are you that girl who goes to the gym walks in and already feels tired before you even started? I will give you these golden tips to get more energy without getting tired!

  1. Short, effective workouts give you more energy

Yes, that’s right you don’t have to work you ass off for hours to see results! Your workout doesn’t have to last longer than an hour. So no more excuses such as ‘I don’t have time to work out’. Cardio should be just part of your exercise, did you know that you could get a great energy boost from a 15-20 minutes intensive workout?

In a short period of time your hart rate will go up and it will give your body a kick! Buy a jump rope or do jumping jacks. Plenty of choice!

  1. Music gives energy

Do you recognize this? You are in your car and your favorite song comes on. You feel the energy rushing through your body and you sing along as loud as you can while you bounce along with the music. This is what music can do to you! Use it during your workouts. The right up tempo song can motivate you and give you that energy boost you’ll need to make it till the end. The exercises will feel less hard. You train with the same intensity (or even more) and at the same time the exercises feel less hard. That’s what I call a win-win situation!

  1. Green, green, green

Going outdoors for your workouts will give you more energy! Being surrounded by nature, fresh air and vitamin D from the sun. Go for a workout in the open air. When you go for a run through the forest or park is completely different than on the treadmill.

  1. Stretch it out

Stretching is a must when you work out. You still want be able to walk the stairs tomorrow right? It may take some time, but it will definetely pay off. You will feel fitter when you stretch more because it stimulates your blood circulation. Your organs will get more oxygen and as a result you will feel better.

  1. Bring me those weights

Cardio is part of your exercise, but if you want to get toned you should start weighttraining. For all those cardio haters out there, this is good news! A 20 minute weighttraining session will give you more energy than doing cardio for 1 hour. Even 20 minutes of intensive yoga will give you more energy than 20 minutes of running. So take out your yoga mat girls!
